International League of Conservation Photographers
"Using the emotional power of great photography."
Cristina Mittermeier, ILCP President

The International League of Conservation Photographers (ILCP) was established during the 8th World Wilderness Congress in Alaska, October 2005. Founder and first Executive Director, Cristina Mittermeier took this young organization from an idea into a rapidly growing network of some of the world’s very best conservation photographers, dedicated to protecting and sustaining our planet’s cultures, creatures and climates.
The ILCP community uses the power of photography to help educate the world community and to further conservation goals. They create compelling and informed images and develop visually based campaigns to promote conservation issues. While many of the images ILCP photographers take show devastation of cultures and natural resources, the images you see in the ILCP Gallery, for the most part, show the planet as it should be - in all its beauty and splendor.
ILCP president Cristina Mittermeier says it best when speaking of the members of her organization. “Our combined achievements and the tireless efforts of my colleagues give me a reason to hope that things will get better for our planet… one beautiful image at a time.”
Enjoy - and purchase - these beautiful images by the photographers of ILCP. Know that each purchase provides valuable funding for both conservation photographers and the causes they are supporting.
